Everyone is an artist

I lay out cards on the floor for students to freely take, each bearing the message: "This is an interactive work."
2
I invite other students (3-5) from the performance art class to assist me in pulling the rope, leaving some on the floor unattended. Once everyone is assembled, I instruct the invited participants to remain still for a brief period, observing if anyone picks up the rope, and wait approximately half a minute before initiating the pulling. Then, I guide them through a specific pattern of movement. If only three people are pulling the rope, their efforts may be particularly strenuous, potentially prompting additional participants to join in to facilitate completion of the performance.

The desired outcome, though not forced, is for someone to intervene and halt the dragging motion. Prior to the performance, I discuss with the invited participants the option to respond spontaneously if someone attempts to interfere, either by disregarding the obstruction or by persisting with the action.
